Most everyone that knows me knows how passionate I am about breastfeeding. Well, I say passionate, others may say crazy, but whatever the case may be, I have a fire in my soul for seeing moms succeed at breastfeeding their little ones. Perhaps it stems from my failed attempt at breastfeeding my now 5 year old son. Lack of support and information just really killed any chance I had. Naturally when I became pregnant a third time I was DETERMINED to breastfeed this baby and breastfeed I did! Here we are, 2.5 years later, still on the boob 🙂 I’m not going to say it’s all been a walk in the park. Nursing through a pregnancy has been especially challenging due to the sensitivity issues and a changing milk supply, but we pushed through and I am now 36 weeks pregnant with baby number 4 and happily nursing my Eli. I truly hope that this is an amazing bonding experience for Eli and his new brother.

Of course, when planning my own maternity photos with the talented Melissa Skidmore, I was absolutely certain I wanted to incorporate nursing into the session. My vision + Melissa’s amazing talent = the most beautiful breastfeeding photo I have ever seen in my life. I can’t believe it’s all mine 🙂
